Back Story of this Painting:
I stumbled across this magical-looking tree in the middle of Wan Chai Park where a lot of older gentlemen were playing elephant chess beneath it. I couldn't help but wander if these men knew each other, or were they they strangers united by a shared love for chess. Regardless, I loved how deeply focused they were on the game. I knew I had to capture this moment in a painting.
