Back Story of this Painting:
Back in 2024, we stopped at a gas station in Beaver during a road trip to grab snacks and an “I Love Beaver” magnet just for fun. As we walked out, I noticed an old gumball machine and was immediately drawn to it. I wondered if anyone actually paid attention to it or even bought a gumball anymore. It was only 25 cents, arguably the cheapest thing you can get at a gas station. I kept thinking about how long it had been sitting there, quietly greeting travellers passing through.
More than anything, I loved its colors and the nostalgia it carried—I knew I had to paint it.
